Frequently Asked Questions
Whether it is your first time on a Reformer or you are returning to movement, we are here to make choosing and attending class feel straightforward.
What should I expect at my first class?
Please arrive a little early so your instructor can introduce you to the studio and the equipment. They will explain how everything works, demonstrate the movements and offer guidance throughout the class.
What should I wear to a Reformer class?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, such as leggings or shorts and a fitted top. Grip socks are required for Reformer and Barre classes; you can bring your own or purchase a pair at the studio.
Do I need to be fit before I start?
No. Foundation Reformer is designed for beginners and for anyone returning to exercise. You can work at your own pace, and your instructor will offer options to help you feel comfortable.
Can I attend if I have an injury or a health concern?
Please let your instructor know before class and seek medical advice where appropriate. We can often suggest adjustments, but One-to-one sessions are the best starting point if you need more individual support.
How do I choose the right class for me?
Start with Foundation Reformer if you are new to the machine or want to build confidence. Choose Intermediate or Dynamic Reformer when you are ready for a stronger pace, and use our class descriptions to find the style that suits your goals.
Can I make a class easier or more challenging?
Yes. Every class includes ways to adjust resistance, range of movement and pace. Tell your instructor how you are feeling, and they will help you choose an option that is right for you that day.
