Questions, Answered

Everything you need to know before stepping into the studio—from your first class to fitting Reformer into your week.

Can I come to Reformer Pilates if I’m completely new?

Absolutely. Our Foundation classes are designed for beginners, with clear instruction to help you get comfortable with the Reformer, learn the essentials and move with confidence from day one.

What should I expect from my first class?

Expect a warm welcome, expert guidance and a full-body session tailored to the class level. Arrive a little early so your instructor can show you around, introduce the Reformer and help you settle in.

Which class should I choose?

If you are new to Reformer Pilates, start with Foundation. If you already know the machine and want more pace or challenge, explore Dynamic or Reformer Sculpt. Each class description will help you find the right fit.

Do I need to be fit or flexible to attend?

Not at all. Reformer Pilates meets you where you are. The resistance and movements can be adapted to support different bodies, experience levels and goals, whether you are building strength, improving mobility or returning to movement.

What should I bring to class?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring water. Grip socks are required for safety and are available at the studio if you do not have your own.

Can I fit a class into a busy working day?

Yes. A 50-minute Reformer class can fit neatly before work, at lunchtime or after your day is done. With studios in Tufnell Park and Bankside / SE1, it is easier to make movement part of your routine.
